A relaxation theory of plasma-broadened He II linesThe relaxation theory of plasma line broadening developed by Smith and Hooper (1967) and extended by Smith (1968) is extended further to cover a case of a positively charged radiator. Differences in the theory, arising from its application to a charged radiator, are discussed in detail.
