Endocrine considerations in the red-cell-mass and plasma volume changes of the Skylab 2 and 3 crewsThe effect of unknown endocrine changes on blood volume of crewmembers was investigated. The results are presented in tabular form. The fact that some of the changes were in the wrong direction suggests that changes in endocrine function were not the primary cause of the decreases in the plasma volume and red cell mass.
