The predicament of aeronautical engineering education and what we can do about itAn analysis of the aeronautical engineering situation and the relationship to the U.S. aircraft industry is presented. Some of the problems encountered in undergraduate aeronautical engineering education are explained. A reorganization of the educational structure for aeronautical engineering is proposed. The human factors aspect of aeronautical engineering discipline is described.
