Materials selection criteria and data

The properties of materials selected for use in oxygen systems are examined. Specifically, materials are selected according to trade-offs between chemical compatibility, ignition temperature, combustion characteristics, and physical properties. Quantitative energy sources and energy release rates capable of causing material combustion or explosion were also considered.
