Catalysts for low-energy aldehyde processesPhotochemical reaction of dicobalt octacarbonyl with polymeric support systems results in formation of polymer bonded metal catalyst. Catalyst is used in hydroformylation (addition of carbon dioxide and hydrogen) of olefins to yield aldehydes.
