Lack of evidence for solar-cycle variations in high-speed streams in the solar wind

The observed yearly numbers and durations of high-speed streams in the solar wind previously reported by Intriligator (1973), when normalized to the duration of available observations, do not exhibit a significant systematic variation with solar cycle, contrary to the inference drawn by him.
