Heat transfer with full-coverage film cooling using 30-deg slant-angle injectionResults are presented from a study of heat transfer to a full-coverage, film-cooled turbulent boundary layer over a flat surface. Heat transfer coefficients are obtained in the full coverage region and downstream recovery region using two values of injectant temperature for each blowing rate. Injection is from 30 deg angled holes forming a staggered array, with hole spacings of 5 and 10 diameters. Stanton number data are presented for a range of mass-flux ratios from 0 to 1.3. Upstream initial conditions are varied from 500 to 5000 for momentum thickness Reynolds number and from 100 to 1800 for enthalpy thickness Reynolds number. The initial boundary layer thickness ranges from 0.5 to 2.3 hole diameters.
