Low energy neutrons from sunArguments are presented in support of an earlier suggestion that low-energy neutrons are likely to be more commonly produced in the solar atmosphere. It appears that protons with an energy not exceeding 100 MeV are more significant, especially those with an energy of about 10 MeV. It is also clear that in addition to the light elements C, N, O, and Ne, due attention should be paid to elements such as Mg, Si, S, Fe, etc., and their isotopes, even if they are not so abundant.-
