Structure and evolutionary history of the solar systemGeneral principles and observational facts concerning the solar system are examined, taking into account the orbits of planets and satellites, the small bodies, the resonance structure, spin and tides, and postaccretional changes in the solar system. A description is given of the accretion of celestial bodies and the plasma phase is considered. Aspects of chemical differentiation and the matrix of the groups of bodies are also discussed, giving attention to chemical compositions in the solar system, meteorites and their precursor states, mass distribution and the critical velocity, and the structure of the groups.
