Skylab S191 visible-infrared spectrometerThe paper describes the S191 visible-infrared spectrometer of the Skylab Earth Resources Experiment Package - a manually pointed two-channel instrument operating in the reflective (0.4-2.5 micron) and thermal emissive (6-15 micron) regions. A sensor description is provided and attention is given to data quality in the short wavelength and thermal infrared regions.
