Protective coating for copper in aluminum heat exchangersApplication of ultrathin layer of molybdenum disulfied coating to copper tubing permits utilization of tubing in cast-aluminum heat exchangers. Coating prevents formation of copper/aluminum eutectic, but does not impede heat transfer.
