Process for preparing thermoplastic aromatic polyimidesA method of preparing insoluble thermoplastic aromatic polyimides is described, having uniquely low softening temperatures by reacting, in a suitable solvent, an aromatic dianhydride, and a meta-substituted aromatic diamine.
