Detection of HC/O-18//plus/ in Sagittarius B2Line emission at 85.1 GHz attributed to the J equals 1-0 rotational transition of the formyl ion HC(O-18)(plus) has been detected in Sgr B2 (OH). The double isotopic ratio (O-16/O-18)/(C-12/C-13) in the formyl ion in Sgr B2 is estimated to be in the range 5-10, hence within a factor 2 of the terrestrial value of 5.5. This determination implies that the C-13/C-12 ratio near the galactic center does not differ greatly from that in local molecular clouds.
