Nuclear particle tracks and the regolith at the Luna 24 siteTrack investigations of feldspars and pyroxenes in Luna 24 soils indicate that most of the grains resided within millimeters of the lunar surface. The two deepest samples appear to be less mature than the upper ones. Lack of correlation between tracks, agglutinates, and I sub S/FeO is puzzling and unique.
