Comparison of predicted and observed spectral energy distribution of K and M stars. I - Alpha BootisThe K2 IIIp star Alpha Bootis has been observed from the ground at 0.536 to 1.070 microns, and from an airplane at 1.21 to 3.90 microns. In the present paper, an absolute flux curve, constructed from these observations with an overall precision greater than + or - 2% in F-lambda, is compared with previous photometry and spectrometry.
