Design of a turbojet engine controller via eigenvalue/eigenvector assignment - A new sensitivity formulationThis brief paper summarizes the approach the authors will take in designing a feedback controller for the F-100 turbofan engine. The technique to be utilized simultaneously realizes dominant closed-loop eigenvalues, approximates specified modal behavior, and achieves low eigensystem sensitivity with respect to certain plant parameter variations.
