Mesospheric and lower thermospheric dynamicsStudies of the dynamics of the mesosphere and lower thermosphere are reviewed. Attention is given to prevailing winds, mean vertical motions, tidal winds, and stratospheric warmings. Semiempirical models, compatibility of measurement techniques, and availability of data are also discussed.
