C3H8 and C3H4 in Titan's atmosphereFour bands of propane C3H8 and two of methyl acetylene C3H4 have been identified in the Voyager IR spectrum of Titan. Stratospheric abundances of 2 x 10 to the -5 for C3H8 and 3 x 10 to the -8 for C3H4 have been determined for the mid-latitude region. A feature at 1,154/cm, previously assigned solely to CH3D, is now identified at least in part due to C3H8.
