Provision of 9.6-kbps wideband data rate capability in the DSNThe new 9.6-kbps wideband data rate capability in the DSN is reviewed. A functional description of the completed implementation is presented, together with a plan to upgrade the central communications terminal for additional 9.6 s operational flexibility.
