Report on the flight data of the Goddard, University of Maryland Proton Helium SpectrometerThe Goddard, University of Maryland Proton Helium Spectrometer (GUMPHS) was flown on June 13, 1979 from Palestine, Texas. The flight lasted 90 minutes and reached an altitude of 58,000 feet. The exposure, while short, was sufficient to test the capabilities of the instrument up to energies of the order of 7 TeV.
