Joining Tubes With AdhesiveCylindrical tubes joined together, end to end, by method employing adhesive, tapered ends, and spacing wires. Tapered joint between tubular structural elements provides pressure between bonding surfaces during adhesive curing. Spacing wires prevent adhesive from being scraped away when one element inserted in other. Method developed for assembling structural elements made of composite materials.
