NASTRAN of the HEPPreliminary plans for the conversion of NASTRAN to DENELCOR's heterogeneous element processor (HEP) are presented. First, a brief history of computer architecture and the architecture of the HEP computer system are discussed. Second, a description of the HEP computer system is provided. Lastly, the preliminary NASTRAN conversion plans for link management, I/O management, memory management, and code optimization are discussed.
