The man-vehicle systems research facility - A new NASA aeronautical R & D facilityA new flight simulation facility nearing completion at the NASA Ames Research Center is described. The facility is intended to support aeronautical human factors research and consists of a new building, two full mission flight simulators and an air traffic control simulator. Special features of the new facility are described which make it particularly well suited for human factors research.
