Stripping the Sheath From Stranded CablesDevice similar to tubing cutter removes tough plastic cover. Insulation stripper is 3 in. (7.6 cm) long and 1.5 (3.8 cm) in diameter. Two rollers are small-diameter bearings. Cutter blade journaled for rotation between pair of similar bearings. Bearings either pin or ball types of suitable dimensions.
