Resonant heating - An interpretation of coronal loop dataIt is shown that the resonant heating theory of Hollweg can be used to organize the coronal loop data of Golub et al. (1980). When combined with a reasonable form for the input power spectrum, the resonant heating theory is fully compatible with the loop data.
