Synthesizing Metal Phthalocyanine Imide PolymersEfficient synthesis of analytically-pure metal (II) 4,4',4'',4''' tetraaminophthalocyanine demonstrated in experiments. Typical Polymerization proceeds in two steps: First, reaction with 3,3',4,4'' -benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride. Second step cyclodehydration. New polymers expected useful in formulation of thermally stable varnishes, adhesives, and fibers.
