Spectral Energetics Diagnoses and FGGE Special Observing Periods and Energetics Analyses of Forecast Experiments with GLAS GCMEnergetics characteristics of Goddard Laboratory for Atmospheric Sciences (GLAS) General Circulation Models (GCM) as they are reflected on the First GARD GLobal Experiment (FGGE) analysis data set are discussed.
