Further development of the dynamic gas temperature measurement systemA compensated thermocouple measurement method was experimentally verified. Dynamic signal content from an atmospheric pressure laboratory burner was measured by the dynamic temperature sensor and a relatively delicate fine-wire resistance thermometer. Compensated data from the two dynamic temperature sensor thermoelements were compared with the compensated fine-wire data in the frequency domain. Absolute differences between spectral line amplitudes measured with different sensors are small relative to the mean temperature and verify the compenation method. Increases in precision of the measurement method require optimization of several factors, and directions for further work are identified.
