Image method for the derivation of point sources in elastostatic problems with plane interfacesAn image method algorithm is presented for the derivation of point sources of elastostatics in multilayered media assuming the infinite space point source is known. Specific cases were worked out and shown to coincide with well known solutions in the literature.
