Calibration techniques and results in the soft X-ray and extreme ultraviolet for components of the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer SatelliteThe calibration facilities and techniques for the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer (EUVE) from 44 to 2500 A are described. Key elements include newly designed radiation sources and a collimated monochromatic EUV beam. Sample results for the calibration of the EUVE filters, detectors, gratings, collimators, and optics are summarized.
