Numerical simulations of quasi-perpendicular collisionless shocksNumerical simulations of collisionless quasi-perpendicular shock waves are reviewed. The strengths and limitations of these simulations are discussed and their experimental (laboratory and spacecraft) context is given. Recent simulation results are emphasized that, with ISEE bow shock observations, are responsible for recent progress in understanding quasi-steady shock structure.
