An unstructured multigrid method for elliptic problemsA multigrid algorithm for implementation on unstructured meshes is proposed. The algorithm uses a sequence of unnested grids and requires the development of efficient inter-grid interpolation procedures. It is demonstrated how elliptic problems can be solved in this fashion by using Jacobi smoothers.
