Fire-Resistant, Plastic-Foam AirductsPolyimide-foam airducts low in cost and light in weight. Relatively safe in fires because they resist spread of flames and generate little smoke. Polyimide-foam ducts less expensive to manufacture. Suitable for heating and air-conditioning in airplanes, ships, trains, and buildings.
