Probing Polymer-Segment Motions By ESRMolecular origins of mechanical properties and aging processes studied. Rotational motions of segments of poly(methyl methacrylate) molecules studied theoretically and experimentally. Activation energies of these motions as determined from temperature dependencies of ESR spectra agree closely with predictions of theory.
