Three-Dimensional Ultrasonic Imaging Of The CorneaProposed technique generates pictures of curved surfaces. Object ultrasonically scanned in raster pattern generated by scanning transmitter/receiver. Receiver turned on at frequent intervals to measure depth variations of scanned object. Used for medical diagnoses by giving images of small curved objects as cornea. Adaptable to other types of reflection measurementsystems such as sonar and radar.
