Multiple-Purpose Rigid Foam InsulationPlastic foam promises to serve as multiple-purpose thermal insulation. Material is rigid, closed-cell, thermally stable foam or urethane-modified isocyanate. Made by reacting polyol mixture with polymeric diphenyl methane disocyanate in presence of catalyst and flurocarbon blowing agent. Properties customized for particular application by adjusting proportions of ingredients in polyol mixture.
