Computational fluid dynamics in aerospaceThe status of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is addressed in terms of methods, examples of CFD solutions, and computer technology. The examples are divided into aerospace applications and fluid physics applications, with the aerospace applications section being further divided into internal and external flows. The role CFD is expected to play in supporting the goals set forth by the Aeronautical Policy Review Committee established by the Office of Science and Technology Policy is noted.
