Spectral characteristics of low-frequency plasma turbulence upstream of Comet P/HalleyTwo upstream regions have been identified in Giotto spacecraft magnetic field and plasma measurements subjected to cross-spectral analyses, in order to determine this cometary environment's low-frequency plasma turbulence spectral characteristics. One region's solar wind magnetic field was approximately parallel, and the other's perpendicular, to the solar wind flow velocity direction. Additional divergences relate to the regions having magnetic field lines that are either connected or disconnected to the cometary bow shock wave in either the quasi-parallel or quasi-perpendicular regions.
