Impact damage development in damaged composite materialsA procedure for predicting the nature of impact damage development based on the measured acousto-ultrasonic (AU) response of fiber reinforced crossply laminates with or without damage is described. Results of AU evaluation as well as penetrant enhanced radiographs of damaged laminates are presented.
