High precision photometry with fiber opticsThis paper discusses the issues involved in measurements made with high-precision multichannel photometers that use cryogenically cooled detectors and optical fibers to bring the light from the star images to the dewar and then to the detectors. The use of optical fibers introduces photometric errors. Measurements are presented of the errors caused by small changes in the position of the image on the fiber.
