Ka-band propagation characteristics of microstrip lines on GaAs substrates at cryogenic temperaturesEffective permitivity and loss characteristics of gold microstrip lines on GaAs substrates were obtained by characterizing GaAs linear resonators at cryogenic temperatures (300 to 20 K) from 30-40 GHz. A slight decrease in effective permittivity and a significant reduction in loss were observed with lower temperatures.
