Time-dependent boundary conditions for hyperbolic systems. IIA general boundary condition formalism is developed for all types of boundary conditions to which hyperbolic systems are subject; the formalism makes possible a 'cookbook' approach to boundary conditions, by means of which novel boundary 'recipes' may be derived and previously devised ones may be consulted as required. Numerous useful conditions are derived for such CFD problems as subsonic and supersonic inflows and outflows, nonreflecting boundaries, force-free boundaries, constant pressure boundaries, and constant mass flux. Attention is given to the computation and integration of time derivatives.
