Lockwasher Strongly Resists DisassemblyLockwasher designed to prevent counter-rotation and loosening of machine screw once screw tightened. Tabs engage slots in pawl-and-ratchet fashion. Features similar to those of "childproof" cap on pill bottle. Intended to replace cup-washer-and-screwhead combination exposed to high-speed, turbulent flow in turbomachinery.
