Application of a robust linear control design to a truss structure with nonlinear jointsAn efficient nonlinear equivalent beam finite-element method for the application of a full state feedback design is described, which is robust to plant uncertainties to a beamlike truss structure with nonlinear elements. The method may be extended to model nonlinear structures with other types of control systems, such as model-based compensators.
