Inflatable Rings For Temporary SealingInflatable rings seal joint. After inflation, space pressurized to test for leakage through joint. Rings protect surface of aperture from contact with metal structure of plug, and accommodate out-of-roundness and irregular surface contours without leaking. Pressure seal requires no preparation or cleanup.
