High-Temperature Tribometer And Data-Acquisition SystemNew tribometer tests friction and wear properties of ceramic and metal materials at temperatures up to 1,200 degrees C in controlled atmospheres. Connected to data-acquisition system using computer programs to enhance productivity and convenience of testing facility. Friction and wear properties of new materials and lubricants ascertained accurately and conveniently.
