Effects Of Stress On Bone-Formation Markers In RatsReport describes experiments involving simultaneous measurement of concentrations, in blood, of two substances indicative of formation of bone in rats. Measurements performed after flight in outer space plus 48 h of postflight environmental stress. Results emphasize critical influences of adrenal status and diet on functions of osteoblasts.
