Incompressibility without tears - How to avoid restrictions of mixed formulationSeveral time-stepping schemes for incompressibility problems are presented which can be solved directly for steady state or iteratively through the time domain. The difficulty of mixed interpolation is avoided by using these schemes. The schemes are applicable to problems of fluid and solid mechanics.
