Observation of annihilation radiation from the Galactic center - The point and ridge componentsThe point-source and Galactic-ridge components of the 511-keV annihilation radiation from the Galactic center are evaluated with an all-sky map based on detection at 80 keV through 2 MeV. The point-source flux is shown to be significant at 95-percent confidence and to agree with those of other data, while the ridge component is consistent with measurements taken at 25-deg longitude.
