Numerical modeling of fluid and electromagnetic phenomena in an arcjetAn explicit numerical technique is used to solve the axisymmetric reduced electromagnetic field equation. The effect of an electrical arc on a viscous, axisymmetric flow is approximated using an implicit thin layer Navier-Stokes solver with additional electromagnetic source terms in conjunction with the explicit finite difference code.
